HALSTEAD, ENGLAND: Netflix’s crime series ‘The Gentlemen’ kicks off with the murder of Tommy Dixon (Peter Serafinowicz), shot by Freddy Horniman (Daniel Ings) in a moment of anger and embarrassment.

The incident grabs the attention of his elder brother, Gospel John (Pearce Quigley), who pledges to avenge Tommy’s death.

Freddy’s brother Eddie Horniman (Theo James) cunningly distracts Gospel for a long time by weaving a false narrative. However, as the series nears its finale, a dramatic shift unfolds.

In the climax scene of Episode 7, Susie Glass (Kaya Scodelario) betrays Eddie Horniman, accusing him of double-crossing her. She reaches out to Gospel John, disclosing that it was Freddy who murdered Tommy, and the two brothers conspired to conceal the crime.

The finale episode begins with Gospel arriving at Halstead Manor with his men, prepared to avenge Tommy’s death.

The Horniman family locks themselves inside their big mansion while Gospel gives Freddy the ultimate warning that he should come out in five minutes or brace for them to forcefully enter.

Meanwhile, Bobby Glass (Ray Winstone) calls Susie and tells her that she’s behind on the news cycle and Eddie did not betray them as she believes.

He asks her to fix her mistake, but unfortunately, it’s too late. However, she does tell Eddie the cavalry is on the way while he prepares himself with armor.

Eddie is joined by the men sent by Susie and they are ready for the big shootout. However, as they go out loaded with shotguns and rifles, they find Gospel and his men long gone.

Later, Bobby Glass reveals that it was he who handled the situation without bloodshed. He says that he had called up Gospel to go back while promising that he’ll make it up to him.

‘The Gentlemen’ is available to stream on Netflix.
