WAYLAND, MASSACHUSETTS: ‘Seeking Sister Wife’ is all set to return for Season 5 with stirring drama and three new couples. Among the first-time appearing couple is the Sherwood family. Ashley and Shane Sherwood have been together for more than two years and expecting a child.
The couple wanted to expand their family and add spice to their romance by including a new woman to form a throuple. In the TLC show, Ashley and Shane searched for an additional woman to complete their polygamy family. However, the couple definitely faced trouble in their hunt.

In the teaser of ‘Seeking Sister Wife’ Season 5, Ashley found a potential sister wife but she was surprisingly not so interested in meeting Shane. After Ashley’s request, the woman agreed to meet the TLC star and her husband, Shane, at the restaurant. Ashley admitted to the cameras, “We’re super open and excited to meeting new people.”
Shane was left disappointed with the woman after she asked him, “Have you been to a therapist before?” The polygamy patriarch responded, “Have not” with the woman sarcastically adding, “That shows.” Shane appeared to not like the woman and claimed in the confessional, “Holy crap… Red flags all over the place.” Meanwhile, the woman agreed to make Ashley and Shane’s dream of polygamy family true.

Ashley and Shane Sherwood are a married couple from Wayland, Massachusetts. After three amazing years of whirlwind romance, Ashley and Shane realized the need for an additional woman to make their relationship stronger. The duo would soon make their reality TV debut with TLC show, ‘Seeking Sister Wife’ Season 5. The couple met in 2020 and sparked an instant romance. The couple will celebrate their fourth anniversary in 2024.
Ashley and Shane recently sold their old house in Framingham and moved to Wayland. The TLC show couple share a love for adventure and golf. Ashley had a beloved dog, Lady. Sadly, he had to bid adieu to his long-time furry friend in 2023. Shane has a hobby of exotic fish keeping and Board games.

‘Seeking Sister Wife’ Season 5 new couple Ashley and Shane Sherwood share two kids Sylis and Swayman. The couple welcomed their first son, Sy, on June 16, 2022, and Swayman on October 17, 2022. Shane often reflected on the big and small achievements of his kids on his social media. He kicked off 2024 with penning a recap of last year.
Shane shared a photo collage featuring the best memories of 2023 with his kids and wife Ashley. In the caption of the post, Shane revealed that his elder son Sy started daycare and met his favorite teachers. Sy was also involved in fun activities last year including swimming and tumble classes. Additionally, Ashle and Shane took their son, Sy, to Disney for the first time and met Mickey Mouse.
‘Seeking Sister Wife’ Season 5 is set to premiere on March 4 at 9 pm ET on TLC.
