The West Sumatra Police and a joint team from Padang Pariaman investigators have successfully arrested Indra Septiarman, the perpetrator of the murder of a fried food seller, Nia Kurnia Sari. From the results of the examination, it was discovered that the perpetrator had a desire to rape the victim.
West Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Suharyono in his statement recounted the chronology of Nia’s murder based on witness statements, evidence, and information from the perpetrator. According to Suharyono, on the day of the incident, Friday, September 6, 2024, the victim was selling fried food.
Nia walks around the villages wearing simple and modest clothing. “Because the victim has one older brother and two younger siblings, at least the victim is the breadwinner, fulfilling the family’s needs. Even though she has graduated from high school, she still sells to fulfill the family’s needs,” she said, Friday (20/9/2024).
Then while selling, the victim was seen by four people who were sitting around. The victim was then called by the four people, and one of them was the perpetrator. They wanted to buy food sold by Nia.
