The Bad Boy Records boss was arrested by federal agents in New York on Monday night (September 16) following a string of sexual assault lawsuits filed against him and a subsequent criminal investigation into his alleged misconduct. READ MORE HERE
The grand jury indictment, which was unsealed on Tuesday morning (September 17), alleges he “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct.”
The detention memo also mentions an incident in early 2012 where Diddy’s “co-conspirators” allegedly set fire to someone’s car “by slicing open the car’s convertible top and dropping a Molotov cocktail inside the interior.” While the victim is not named (he or she is identified only as “Individual-1”), the outline of the situation, and the timing, matches an incident Cassie mentioned in her lawsuit against Diddy, one that allegedly involved Kid Cudi.
In addition, the government says that among the physical evidence discovered during raids (as well as searches of Diddy and “certain of his co-conspirators”) was “other evidence of Freak Offs, including over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and personal lubricant.”
