Kehlani, a leading force in contemporary R&B, has unveiled her highly-anticipated fourth studio album, “Crash.” Announced in mid-May, the 13-track project marks Kehlani’s return following the critical acclaim of her 2022 effort, “Blue Water Road.”
“Crash” arrives prepped with momentum, boasting the previously released singles “Next 2 U” and the infectious “After Hours,” which established itself as one of Kehlani’s highest-charting solo tracks.
The album further elevates the anticipation with a lineup of impressive collaborations. Renowned soul singer Jill Scott lends her legendary vocals while rising star Young Miko and Nigerian Afrobeat artist Omah Lay add their distinct flavors to the sonic tapestry.
Kehlani’s previous offering, “Blue Water Road,” debuted at number 13 on the Billboard 200 chart, propelled by its 13 tracks and features from prominent names like Justin Bieber and Blxst. With “Crash,” Kehlani appears poised to not only replicate that success but potentially surpass it.
