Tanna disclosed to the ‘Botched’ Season 8 doctors that she had two holes in her breast at the nipple region. She was depressed because of the way her physique looked.

During her previous surgery, Tanna noticed that she was bleeding through her dressing. When she tried to raise a concern to her surgeon, she was sadly shunned.

Dr Dubrow fixed the holes in Tanna’s breasts and did a reconstruction that the ICU nurse was finally happy with. She left the ‘Botched’ chambers with new found confidence.

Healthcare staff have taken it upon themselves to continue doing whatever they can to help throughout the pandemic. That included Tanna, a local travel nurse who was doing so despite significant personal challenges.

Tanna is a traveling nurse from Katy. If you speak with her for ten minutes, you will hear some genuinely moving stories, including her own. She contracted COVID twice. This happened well before a vaccination became available.

She flew from UMMC to California to assist hospitals dealing with a surge in COVID cases. She returned to Katy in August 2021. That’s when Tanna went in for a routine checkup. “She looked at me within seconds, and she was, like, ‘Oh, yeah, we’re doing a biopsy,'” Tanna said. “‘You definitely have skin cancer.'”

Doctors noticed a lesion on her face and diagnosed it as basal cell carcinoma. The news arrived the day before she was scheduled to go to another COVID ICU in Mississippi. She’s been a nurse for over 20 years, and her latest illness isn’t stopping her.

Season 8 E! series ‘Botched’ continues with new episodes every Thursday at 10 pm ET on the network.
