Modern cosmetic surgery allows skilled hands to produce a more balanced, harmonious face look by modifying the form, size, or contour of the nose through rhinoplasty surgery.

It’s unclear what Andy is up to after his ‘Botched’ debut, owing to his lack of social media presence. However, viewers might hope that Dr Nassif helped him overcome all of his issues and that the father of ten is now living a stress-free life outside his cocoon.

Andy is also the father of ten children. He has a nose that expands by an inch every year, and he wants doctors to give him his old nose back.

“I had a normal nose. Now it’s growing about an inch a year,” Andy told the E! cameras before meeting the ‘Botched’ doctors.

When he visited with the ‘Botched’ doctors, he explained that he had begun to notice some respiratory problems. “It has blocked this side (the right side of his nose) because it’s growing in that direction.”

He also says that pus is continuously coming out of it. It has reached the point where it is “ugly, socially unacceptable.”

Andy said that people have been calling him names because of the condition he has. Even total strangers’ spontaneous stares at his nose had a significant impact on his life.

That’s when he realized it was something he needed to take care of.

What happened to Andy in ‘Botched’ Season 8?

Rhinoplasty, sometimes known as a “nose job,” is one of the most routinely done face procedures. Every year, around half a million rhinoplasty procedures are performed in the United States.

Rhinophyma causes thicker skin on the nose and enlargement of the oil glands.

The damaged skin may also appear bulbous and red, with visible blood vessels and pores. The causes of rhinophyma are yet unknown; however, it is known to occur more commonly in men.

To alter Andy’s nose, Dr Nassif used electrosurgery. Essentially, he utilized heated wire to cut away the extra tissue on top of Andy’s natural nose.

In addition to Andy’s cosmetic treatment, Dr Nassif performed a nose job to address breathing issues caused by a deviated septum, congenital defect, or trauma. Dr Nassif’s objective was to improve the appearance and function of Andy’s nose, while also increasing confidence and removing self-consciousness induced by his nasal appearance.
