LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Elsbeth’, CBS’ latest series, premiered on Leap Day, February 29. However, no new episodes will be released in March.
The second episode did not air on March 7, much to everyone’s surprise. Instead, on March 14, a rerun of the premiere was shown, giving fans another introduction to Elsbeth Tascioni, an unconventional attorney, who gives her singular point of view to make observations to catch criminals.

Missing episodes: Why didn’t ‘Elsbeth’ air on March 7 and 14?

The absence of a new episode on March 7 was due to President Biden’s State of the Union address, which all major networks, including CBS, broadcasted starting at 9 pm.
On March 14, a rerun of the premiere will be shown. If you missed it, you can follow it on Paramount+.

March Madness takes over the CBS line-up
On March 21, ‘Elsbeth’ and CBS’ entire Thursday, Friday, and Saturday line-ups will be preempted for the start of March Madness.
The NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship’s first round will dominate programming on the network. Similarly, on March 28, the Sweet 16 matchups will take place, resulting in the absence of another episode for ‘Elsbeth’ that Thursday as well.
‘When Will ‘Elsbeth’ resume airing episodes?’
On Thursday, April 4, ‘Elsbeth’ fans will get a double dose of episodes. The first will air at the earlier time of 9 pm E, immediately following a new episode of the hit comedy ‘Ghosts’. This timing adjustment could potentially influence CBS’s decisions for the next TV season.
The second episode will then air in its usual 10 pm ET slot. Following that, the regular schedule should resume with ‘So Help Me Todd’ and then ‘Elsbeth’.
