LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: JJ Higgins put his music career in wait to raise his baby, but he is now ready to follow his goals. He auditioned for ‘The Voice’ Season 25 singing Kenny Loggins’ “Return to Pooh Corner” but received no chair turn from the coaches despite practically tearing them up with his story.

JJ did not get a shot on ‘The Voice’ this season, but he was able to play a heartfelt song for the coaches. “Just the experience of telling my story – that was all I needed,” JJ informed the coaches.

He brought his child on stage, and the two embraced in an emotional moment. Shay Mooney cried after witnessing JJ hug his son. “I’m gonna cry,” Chance the Rapper stated. “It’s a performance we’ll never forget,” Reba McEntire admitted in a confessional.
