Unfortunately, ‘Belgravia: The Next Chapter’ has left some fans unimpressed. Viewers took to micro-blogging site X to share everything they didn’t like about the series.

A furious fan wrote, “I watched the finale of #Belgravia and it was a little lackluster! Some things were answered and then some weren’t which I felt hurt the last episode. A little rushed for me.”

Another said, “#BelgraviaTheNextChapter a wasted series. Horribly written. The 7th episode had drama and twists and the 8th episode back to boring and basic. No more Belgravia….this should be the end.”

“I usually love period dramas but Belgravia the Next Chapter was a hot mess of writing. I don’t know what happened from Belgravia to this but damn bring the old writers back,” wrote another fan of the MGM+ drama.

Another fan expressed frustration by posting, “why do people feel the need to compare everything julian fellowes does? like ofc belgravia: the next chapter isn’t going to be just like downton abbey or the gilded age THEY ARENT ALL THE SAME SHOW.”

A fan expressed disappointment at the storyline by saying, “#BelgraviaTheNextChapter I knew the final episode (8) was going to turn that end Federick into a “I’m so sorry I was an asshole guy.” Girrrl in 2024 you don’t need to go back to a narcissist just because he lost money and he’s feeling sorry for himself.”

The show did not meet the expectations of the people. However, people were still watching it to determine if it won them over by the end.

A fan said, “I’m just kind of relieved #BelgraviaTheNextChapter is over now. I love me some Julian Fellowes so I had to watch. It’s been a hard 8 episodes to get through. But I made it. I’m EXHAUSTED. But I made it. #Belgravia.”

Some fans praise ‘Belgravia: The Next Chapter’ for its refreshing take

On the flip side, ‘Belgravia: The Next Chapter’ managed to raise intrigue among a section of the audience with its nostalgic yet fresh take on period drama.

Praising the efforts, a viewer posted, “A nice, happy ending for S2 of #Belgravia.”

Another fan said, “Wonderful finale!! So happy to see a certain actor make his appearance!! Love all the redemption stories for so many characters, old and new. #Belgravia #BelgraviaMGMPlus #BelgraviaTheNextChapter.”

One fan said, “Belgravia The Next Chapter is pure paradise. During the last episode, I had ugly tears, stupid smiles, bursts of laughter and sometimes all three in a row in a few seconds but I loved every second of it. Thank you for these moments of happiness.” “BELGRAVIA is giving the CHILLS.”
