The young man flees in an attempt to rescue himself, but they quickly catch up with him. However, before he is taken, he manages to convey a cryptic message to Errol (John McGrellis).

Noting that neither Tommy nor Jethro ever returned, Errol tells Gospel John (Pearce Quigley) that something may have occurred with Tommy.

They decide to pay a visit to the Horniman Mansion to further investigate Tommy’s disappearance.

Eddie and Freddy act as though they are unaware of Tommy’s disappearance, but in keeping with their strategy, they tell Tommy that there was animosity between Jethro and Tommy, suggesting that Jethro might be to blame for Tommy’s disappearance.

In accordance with their plan, Eddie decides to collect Jethro’s passport so that he can be sent overseas, but after being attacked by one of John’s men, he kills the man in self-defence.

Utilizing his cunning, Eddie places Tommy’s murder weapon next to the man’s deadbody in Jethro’s car trunk.

John, along with his man, pays the brothers a follow-up visit and makes insinuations that they have come to believe that Tommy was indeed murdered by Jethro.

But they emphasised the question of how Jethro could obtain a well-made English rifle and murder Tommy. In response, the brother indicated that Jethro had taken the weapon from them, which reassured the gangster.

He does, however, ask them to keep the weapon with him until he uses it to execute Jethro.

‘The Gentlemen’ is now streaming on Netflix.
