CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA: ‘Love is Blind’ Season 6 stars Amber Desiree aka AD, and Clay Gravesande are no longer together after Clay decided to call off their wedding at the altar by turning down AD.

Despite AD showering Clay with praises during her vows and confidently saying “I do” to him, the situation took a turn when it was Clay’s turn to respond.

He declined to move forward, stating that he wasn’t ready for marriage at that moment. “This has been the best process. AD, I love you,” Clay explained to her. “I don’t think it’s responsible for me to say ‘I do.’ But I want you to know that I’m rockin’ with you.”

Despite calling off the wedding, Clay seemed interested in taking their relationship ahead,  “We’ll go through this together. I don’t care what nobody says. I know fully I’m not ready for marriage,” he said.

However, AD did not support this decision, even though Clay expressed his desire to avoid a breakup and proposed seeking therapy to address his doubts.

However, AD shares with him that it is challenging for her to listen to his concerns and process her own emotions simultaneously. She articulates feeling like a “sacrifice” used to aid Clay’s personal growth during their time on the show and asks him to “leave” her.

In her vows, AD describes Clay as her “safe space,” expressing that he is akin to a home for her. She showers him with praise, emphasizing their shared language and mutual love for the same things. “You are a home for me,” she says. “We speak the same language. We love the same things. You are beautiful. You are intelligent.”

She underscores how he may not fully recognize the effort he has invested in becoming a better person. As the moment of decision arrives, AD confidently says “I do,” indicating her commitment and love for Clay, only to be later rejected by him.

“I keep, like, doing so much for these men and carrying these f****g relationships, and, like, it’s just not f******g enough. And I don’t know what to do really,” AD shared in her confessional video, visibly upset.

After their wedding was called off, Clay has a conversation with his father, Trevor. During their discussion, Clay expresses to Trevor that he stands by his decision. Trevor, in turn, advises him not to marry AD if it doesn’t make Clay happy.

Later, while speaking to the cameras, Clay delves into the reasons behind his hesitation to get married. He explains that, in his view, a marriage involves a unity of finances and is, in part, a business decision. “I think the finances, I looked at it and brushed it off, but finance is huge to me and I don’t understand her finances like that,” he adds.

Stay tuned to Netflix on Wednesday, March 13 at 3 am ET to watch ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 6 Reunion.
