LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Overall, Madison Curbelo’s comeback on ‘The Voice’ Season 25 has been nothing short of impressive.

During the latest episode of ‘The Voice’ Season 25, Madison Curbelo returned triumphantly. For the unversed, Madison had previously auditioned for ‘The Voice’ Season 20 but unfortunately did not make the cut.
However, she took the advice of coach Blake Shelton and decided to work the music circuit, performing at various gigs. In addition, she also completed her education at the prestigious Berklee College of Music.
On Monday night’s episode, Madison wowed the judges right from the start with her rendition of the classic song ‘Stand by Me,’ impressing judge John Legend in particular.
Her performance was so outstanding that she became a four-chair turn, with not only John Legend but also the coaches Dan + Shay, Chance the Rapper, and Reba McEntire all vying for the opportunity to coach her.

Reba praised Madison, saying she did a ‘beautiful job’ with the song, while John expressed his admiration for her journey and remarked that she is now ready to shine because her voice has a certain brightness to it.
Shay from the duo Dan + Shay could not contain his enthusiasm either, stating that Madison radiates light and joy and has a flawless voice.

Chance the Rapper, on the other hand, called her an “awesome talent” who brings a smile to his face just by listening to her. He also advised Madison to choose the coach who can best assist her with her musical arrangements.

During a post-audition interview, John openly discussed his thoughts about Madison Curbelo choosing Dan + Shay as her mentor instead of him, expressing his disappointment in the decision.
Legend did not hold back as he divulged his thoughts on the matter, revealing his reaction to being passed over for another mentor in the competition.
“I’m really disappointed that Madison is holding this grudge against me. But Dan + Shay are pretty good at this. I’ve got to say they’re picking this coaching thing up pretty quickly,” John said.
Madison Curbelo previously auditioned for ‘The Voice’ Season 20
During Season 20 of ‘The Voice’, Madison Curbelo had the opportunity to audition for the show, but unfortunately, her performance did not leave a lasting impression on the judges.
During Season 25 of the NBC show, John Legend was the first coach to turn his chair for Madison. However, he was not shy to acknowledge the fact that he did not turn for her back in the day.
“I am keenly aware that I was one of the people who did not turn for you in season 20. I feel like you’re just ready now… When I turned around, I saw the smile on your face, “John said.
He added, “And I turned around pretty quickly; before any of them! – But I ‘heard’ your smile before I turned around. Because your voice has this brightness to it; this charisma to it.”
‘The Voice’ Season 25 airs on NBC at 8 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. The episodes will be available on Peacock on demand the next day. The streaming site also includes entire episodes from the show’s prior seasons.
