GREVE IN CHIANTI, ITALY: HGTV has slated the premiere of ‘Fixer to Fabulous: Italiano,’ showcasing the home renovation expertise of Dave and Jenny Marrs, for Tuesday, March 12 at 8 pm.

In this spinoff, the Marrs take on the picturesque Tuscan countryside, revamping a centuries-old villa for dear friends.

When the Marrs family’s long-time friends unveiled a century-old Italian villa in Greve in Chianti, Italy, in need of renovation, Dave and Jenny enthusiastically took on the challenge to lend their expertise and support.

The transformation of this special renovation is now complete, and viewers can witness the stunning reveal when the show premieres on HGTV this month. Fixer to Fabulous: Italiano is produced by RIVR Media.

The show ‘Fixer to Fabulous’ follows the journey of Dave and Jenny Marrs, residents of Bentonville, Arkansas. Specializing in the renovation of classic homes, the couple adeptly transforms historic houses in need of updates into charming forever homes.

The couple seized the chance to film a special edition in Italy titled ‘Fixer to Fabulous: Italiano.’ When friends of the Marrs family presented them with a century-old villa in Greve in Chianti, Italy, needing renovation, Dave and Jenny eagerly embraced the opportunity to lend their expertise.

The series follows Dave and Jenny Marrs’ journey back to Italy, where their love story started, as they work on restoring a beautiful villa. They team up with local builders, architects, and artisans, as they tackle historic building regulations.

The cherished husband-and-wife team has garnered a reputation by renovating over 300 homes in Northwest Arkansas. Their most recent project involves transforming an 1870s historic home into a sought-after retreat, available for booking on Airbnb.

Operating through Marrs Developing, the couple has been revitalizing homes since 2004. Dave’s expertise in building and restoring historic homes as a contractor, builder, and skilled craftsman, combined with Jenny’s keen design sense, has not only contributed to the community’s growth but has also propelled their successful TV careers.

The couple share five children: 4-year-old Luke, 9-year-old Charlotte, 11-year-old Sylvie, and 12-year-old twin boys, Nathan and Ben.

Having spent considerable time in Italy and bringing their children for multiple visits, Dave and Jenny openly admitted their fondness for the relaxed way of life in Tuscany.

Speaking on the Jennifer Hudson Show, Jenny Marrs expressed, “The food, of course, is incredible, and it’s beautiful, but we really love the people. That feeling of valuing relationships is what we love. Everyone there, they’re just so generous with their hospitality, and we can learn so much from that.”
